Great movie with non stop action and enthralling dialogue. The special features section is about the best I have come across - extra point for that.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the first one. I loved the chemistry between Sherlock and Irene, and after her abrupt removal from the film at the beginning, it just seemed to be missing that spark.

If you liked the first movie, then the second one is right up your alley. Follows the same style and prelude's to R Downey's fight scenes. The story is a bit hard to follow so you have to have to be nailed to your seat all the way thru. But overall these movies are highly entertaining.

Terrrrrible. I get that the roles of Bruce Wayne, Tony Stark and Ethan Hunt have been filled. The story is reasonable, the locations/CGI/sets are quite nice. So why does Sherlock Holmes have to join the ranks as superhuman Hollywood action hero, albeit in old London? Accents became very tedious. The Movie tries to do too much with visual effects, and runs for too long. It also made half a $B; I'll have to remember to skip the 3rd one.

There are a lot of accurate references to Sir Arthurs Sherlock. I actually enjoyed this more than the first. Its wildly exaggerated and preposterous - but its a good ride.

Over-the-top action and insight that is hard to accept. Some very clever special effects but too much fluff and not enough substance. Very easy to pass over for something more satisfying.

This was a great sequel to an equally great first try by the Robert Downey Jnr Sherlock Holmes adaptation crew but this one had added secret sauce - an extra bad well cast Moriarty! I love the pre-planned fight sequences and this one had a doozy at the end. Both films were shot brilliantly and Robert D has found a new niche for his character style that travels as well in Victorian times as it does in the current batch of Supehero movies. To be fair Jude Law is a good Watson, a more intelligent, less Bumbly and a much more reluctantly indepedent then prevous incarnations of the genre. This is Ironman with extra Toff!

Quite good for entertainment but honestly I enjoyed the first one more than this sequel because it was 50-50 between mystery solving / smart thinking and physical action scenes by Sherlock Holmes. It was quite fresh to see the remake where Holmes not only smart in thinking to solve crime mysteries but also can engage in hand--to-hand combat. However, the sequel goes overboard with the physical and weapon action scenes so far to make it more like combo of Rambo and Jacky Chan movies rather than Sherlock Holmes. A case of a bridge too far I suppose for Sherlock Holmes fans.
