They should have stopped at the 4th Saw. This installment just rehashes the past ones and the storyline is boring. I was very disappointed with this one and think they need to think up some new storyline or just stop now.

Still good old Saw, lots of blood and guts. But there was no twist like the other four. I found the plot very contrived (which is a big stretch for a slasher movie) and quite transparent.

Excellent finish to the series -- or is it over. I rekon they could drag it on longer which will spoil the series so far

The Saw franchise asks a lot from its audience, and the maze of tests formula is getting a bit too familiar. Amazingly there is still room for Saw VI and like McDonalds secret sauce formula I'll be back for more.

Maybe the series has run its course, but this one I found confusing at times. Perhaps I need to watch a "Saw" marathon.

Loved It. Just what you expect from a Saw movie. I believe there is more to Jigsaw's wife and it will be very interesting to see this played out in future Saw movies.

Excellent! Good story line and even better SFX. Bonus footage well worth the watch.

Saw V improves a lot on its predecessor, which I felt was a pretty ordinary film. This one has Jigsaw in it a lot more. A lot of gore, and I mean A LOT! If you survive the first five minutes you should be right for the rest of the film. The script was a bit ordinary - some of the lines were very B grade at best.

More of the same. Let us hope this closes off the franchise.

WHEN WILL IT END FOR GOOD? I thought it will be the last chapter and the end looks like another sequel will come :( Regarding this chapter, it's certainly the worst of the serie. It's still an alright movie compared to other Horror genre features you may find in Quickflix and if you liked the other SAW movies, this one will do the job. Personally I thought the storyline was quite absurd and the twist ...Not sure if we should call it a twist! Nothing new in this chapter. Hollywood just tries making a couple more millions with the franchise.

I have been a fan of the Saw movies since the first. I didn't think that 5 would be as good as the others, thankfully i was wrong! I enjoyed this movie - this even left me cringing in my lounge chair - cant wait till 6 comes out !

To be honest, I didn't mind the fifth instalment. Same formula, but they keep putting a pretty good spin on doing it each time. If you like the previous 4 (particularly the 1st, 3rd

Expands the story with a lot of flashbacks, but still plenty of gore people not in it for the story.

This is an all right film albeit unnecessary. The SAW franchise is now more about how to kill someone in a gruesome fashion rather than having an intriguing shocking plot. The twists at the end are starting to get a little predictable and the traps are just getting stupid now. Its watch-able but confusing in some scenes regarding some characters. I give it 3/5 stars.

It finally had to happen. The story of Saw continues despite the sequals after part 2 simply being torture films now is still enjoyable but shows signs of falling into the absurdness that has befallen most sequals. The story picks up after Hoffman and the FBI agent escape the place at the end of part 4 but Hoffman contunes Jigsaw's work and traps 5 people who has to pass tests of their own. The acting is passible and the traps are as nasty as ever. The film has brillant effects and some really mean traps plus heaps of blood and gore since this is the uncut directors cut of the film and one trap really is hard to watch and will shock even the most hardest Saw fan who thinks they have seen it all but the storyline is getting really stale and relies on backstory a lot in this 4th sequel. The storyline takes a backseat to the inventive traps and bloodletting and is getting downright silly now plus once one gathers up the whole story its now become paper thin. Its watchable and worth a view but seeing Part 6 is on its ways one hopes that Saw is ended once and for all before the series ends up with a bomb on its hands.

Portraying Hoffman as a policeman who becomes an apprentice psychopath is one thing and that's absurd enough but using his own personal history ie: the death of his sister, to try and make Hoffman look like a victim, is just ridiculous. They should kill off Hoffman in Saw 6 and have Jigsaw's wife come and fulfill his evil legacy instead. At least then you're not having policemen being portrayed as psychopaths who try and justify themselves as innocent bystanders who are just "performing a civil service".

Another installment in the Saw series. Saw V is just like every other saw, many plot twists and moments that make you cringe but for me however, the whole idea of the Saw franchise is getting quite boring. This movie was definitely over-hyped but still worth seeing for fans of the Saw movies.
