An underwater earthquake cracks open a crater deep beneath the ocean's surface, unleashing a prehistoric predator. On the sleepy island of White Sands, local teens drink and party beside a beach bonfire. One of them wanders off after a pretty girl and disappears, leaving only a severed hand behind. It appears it's been bitten and ripped off in a vicious animal attack. This looks like a shark bite, but it's found well above the high tide line.
It can't be a shark...or can it?

4 star B-Grade. We loved it because it had so many terrific elements of a good B-Grade. Fake beasts - the sharks. Fake blood and guts - chucked in one scene by the bucket load. A mix of pretty good acting with some eyebrow-raisingly bad acting. Most believable? - good old American greed coming first to the detriment of well...everybody and anybody!

So bad, it was actually hysterically funny! The special effects were quite simply the worst I have ever, ever seen. Incredible really, sand sharks from the centre of the earth? Come on guys! Seriously, though, it is a must see for all those fans who love c**p movies. This is a corker!

OMG, this is like the worst movie ever made!! The only thing good about it is that it is so bad that you laugh the whole way through. Shocking!!

oh my, movie's like this should be against the law. Have no idea why it is in high demand to watch, I would give it 5 stars for being the worst movie ever made.

Terrible movie that lacks any sense of reality, at least the actors seemed to know they were in a really bad movie and turned up the bad acting!

If it is a parody of Jaws the comic timing is off making it look like it's trying to pay homage to the franchise. The main problem being it is not quite good enough to tip the hat to anything.

absolutely one of the worst movies. Jaws on sand with pathetic acting. I would give it no stars if possible.
