As a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt (Angelina Jolie) swore an oath to duty, honour and country. Her loyalty will be tested when a defector accuses her of being a Russian spy. Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture. Salt's efforts to prove her innocence only serve to cast doubt on her motives, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: "Who is Salt?"

Twisty enough that you don't know where Salt's allegiance is, keeping you on your toes. Good action, a nice bit of suspense, Angelina Jolie reprises her Lara Croft tough-girl character as Evelyn Salt, but I like that she's still human and emotional at least at times in this movie. If you like Spy thrillers it's an entertaining couple of hours.

Angelina Jolie does a great job. The plot a bit predictable.. To enjoy this movie requires some suspension of believe, and to be in the moment. Otherwise if you like the Bourne movies, this is follows in a similar albeit less believable manner. However the movie itself is still action packed, and fun to watch.

People doing impossible feats...with a women (Salt) who, in my opinion was mis-casted for the role....lots of close up footage thats hard to work out, along with a virtually impossible story line....Ohhh...hang on, maybe this was a Sci-fi movie...!!

Good unpredictable action movie which kept you guessing. Angelina played good girl/bad girl very convincingly - you were never quite sure which side she was on. Better than expected.

I liked it ... yes, predictable ... yes, ridiculous ... but great action, albeit an impossible amount and ... well just impossible! . It is a movie to watch for a bit of escapism - not to watch from an intellectual aspect! I continue to gain respect for AJ - she is a true beauty and never fails in her acting.
