Director: Mark Rappaport
Actor: Rock Hudson

“It was all up there,” says Rock Hudson (Eric Farr) at the start of this rule-breaking, dizzying assortment of clips from Rock Hudson’s Hollywood career that make up Mark Rappaport’s feature film “Rock Hudson’s Home Movies”. Employing narrative commentary from beyond the grave, the film invents an eclectic form of biography. The closer you look at Hudson’s films the more you see the actor winking at us.

Dreadful. Sound is bad and voice over acting is strange.

It was OK - not what I expected. Again when you dont want to tax your mind, something to wash over you whilst your enjoying a pino gris on a sunday afternoon. Perhaps a couple of Doris Day numbers could have brightened it up a little!!!!

What absolute rubbish! The musings of a wannabe film star (which sound like the first sexualstirrings of a 12 year old) superimposed over very bad quality clips of Hudson's movies. As another reviewer said steer clear of this unless you enjoy disappointment!

An interesting premise, I thought I would give this a go, often these type of movie doco's are revealing and interesting. This is appalling. I was sure this was somebodies school project. And by school I mean primary school. Save the environment, don't waste the stamp.
