A different look for Mr Statham and a good, not great, film. Not a film to be watching with friends who are chatting away, One to be be watched closely and listened to as you follow the twists and turns but well worth the effort.

Well made action film but the underlying thought provoking themes made it really interesting along with stantham's performance. I think one of his best, but he doesn't usually do much acting anyway. This is a love it or hate it film.

I think Guy Ritchie outsmarted himself this time. Movie ok if you are a budding Psychologist and like listening to mindless waffle, and strange mind games, otherwise suggest you don???t bother. I loved Snatch & Smoking Barrels, but this one was extremely complicated, that???s ok sometimes and I thought of watching it again the next day but then decided it really wasnt worth the effort. To confuse you even more lots of dead bodies, violence and torture. Watch the making of it in the specials if you really want to know what went on. Actually come to think of it, that was probably better than the film. Overall a poor nights entertainment, shame because they were quality actors.

A good film but nothing special. Mr Richie needs to work on his dialogue which was the downfall of this film. The action scenes were used as filler and had no real relevance to his underlying theme of cause and effect or freewill. Mr Statham gave a better performance but he needs to find a better director.

An adroit exploration of a concept of free will, with exciting action sequences. Very well structured and well acted. Highly recommended. 4.5/5.

This is much better than his recent effort 'RocknRolla'. Jason Statham is very good and again much better than his recent effort 'Crank 2'. Either way it will surprise you.

I wondered why it had taken this movie four years to reach Australia - and am still wondering. It starts off with Jason Statham emerging from prison after a long period in solitary and planning revenge on the man who put him there. Sounds predictable doesn't it? However towards the end it's apparent that it is much more a movie about one man's awakening than one about bad guys and badder guys. I had to watch it twice to really get what it was about but it's well worth the effort.
