A supernatural thriller starring Sarah Michelle Gellar ("The Grudge," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer") as Joanna Mills, a tough young Midwesterner determined to learn the truth behind the increasingly terrifying supernatural visions that have been haunting her. Joanna has made a successful career for herself, as sales representative for a trucking company. But her private life has been difficult; estranged from her father (Sam Shepard), stalked by an obsessed ex-boyfriend (Adam Scott), and with few friends, Joanna fears that she is losing control. She sees and feels the brutal murder of a young woman she's never met, at the hands of a heartless killer # a man who appears to be making Joanna his next target. Determined to fight back, Joanna is guided by her nightmares to the murdered woman's hometown. Once there, she will discover that some secrets can't be buried; some spirits never die; and that the murder she is trying to solve may be her own.

Good movie. Not what I hoped it would be, but still a good movie with a nice twist at the end.

Terribly confusing movie which takes most of it to understand. Lame ending, and a mismatch of photography techniques.

Fairly confusing but interesting enough by the end. Sarah michelle Gellar is rather limited as an actress and doesn't get far from her 'Buffy' persona. I liked the resolution but it was a bit of a difficult journey to get there.

This was ok for a past life thing but it was missing the edge of a good spook movie

If you can get over S.M.G with dark hair looking like Courtney Cox you will probably find the film boring. I wanted to turn it off after 20 mins, but had to watch it to see if it got better...it didn't

This could have been a good thriller but the limited script did nothing for the story line.

A bit of a mish mash, has the makings of a great movie in here but it is missing something. Still worth a watch though. Once.

It was good to see SMG back on the screen. Not a bad plot for a horror movie. Don't think it was her best work but then if you were a 'Buffy' fan like me, nothing is ever going to top that. Hopefully she'll make some more movies in the future.

I thought this was really well done. A bit like like watching a good jig-saw come together, the movie had a really interesting twist to it at the end.
