You have to see the previous one, to really understand this one...
The movie's basis is a computer game, and this shines through in all these movies...
Escaping from a big building with many zombies, of different levels of difficulty.... many weak ones or only 2 hard ones...
predictable.. but for us that like sci-fi and FPS-gaming, this is a good movie.
This one also is longer then the previous ones (117 min)
i have only seen re 1 i believe (but can't remember that), so mustn't of had much of an impact and sort of that's what i thought of this instalment......... easily forgotten. Only for die hard fans of R E
what can I say ? BLAH - goes no where
Whole franchise good viewing.
I liked this latest in the series much better than the plasticised one before it. Maybe the filmmakers were trying to win a new legion of fans with this one, for there was much from the past movies brought back in this one; not that I minded that, Alice still rocks and she's such a great heroine. Some never seen before stunts to thrill but don't expect anything too different though of the whole thing.
MAKE SURE YOU WATCH IN 3D
If you are a fan of the Resident Evil movies then don't bother with this one. Boring storyline, very confusing all the way through. The fight scenes were much too long with the good guys being able to withstand hails of bullets and being blown to smithereens, coming out the other side unharmed. It was very b grade with a weak ending.
This movie just kept jumping from good to bad from one scene to the next. Mill Jovovich put in a strong performance, and that was one of the only things I really enjoyed in this movie.
Didn't enjoy it as much as the others but still a good movie.
So disappointing. I've really enjoyed all the others, even with the clunky dialogue and C-grade supporting cast that have been the standard since the second one. And bringing back all those terrible actors and putting them in one movie with no plot (literally - go from point a, to point b) was a very bad idea. At some points I was literally embarrassed for the actors. That said, Milla is awesome, and I'll still watch the next one - but I won't watch this trash again. I'd say 'fans only', but I suspect they'll hate it too. I did.
I've watched I'm sure all the previous, must admit the damnation one I really did not think was good, but thought try watching this one thinking just one slip up...but if any more come out think I'll call it quits right here, finally a good string of movies gone sour...
Yeah this franchise has gone pear-shaped and its all a question of whether you mind that the plot is pretty much scrambled eggs! Some of the zombies carry guns and some of them wrapped their victims in alien-like (sigorney weaver aliens) coccoons. Its a mess all round and anyone and everyone that was popular in a previous movie is now back as a clone.... absurdly silly, but do you care? Im not sure whether I do - 2/5
Hmmm... not sure what happened with this franchise. This seems to be a rehash of everything that's come before (I mean, literally: the scenes from other movies are repeated, often verbatim). The visuals are striking as always, but now the story is just sounding silly. The cast seems to recognise that too, and looks increasingly uncomfortable. Watch it at your own risk.
Absolute rubbish. This is a mish mash of the previous three with very little new stuff. Waste of time.
