When a good cop gets blown away in a drive-by shooting, the police department writes it off as a random act of violence. Big mistake. That young cop has a father who happens to be a street fighting, nerves of steel avenger, who has been trained by the special forces and is hell bent on one thing: Justice. To find his son’s killer Simon Ballister (Steven Seagal) moves into the worst part of town where his welcome party turns out to be two gang members whom he sends home bleeding. Ballister isn’t easily deterred, and he stop at nothing to find his son’s killer. But, these gangs have more men, more firepower, more police protection and the fearless and dangerous recklessness of youth - all of which Ballister plans to use against them.

Definitely one of the better DTV Seagal releases.. Typical revenge storyline with some corny emotive scenes, however it's very funny at times and the action is great..

In a word "Rubbish". I am a big Seagal fan, what happened to this one Steven, please get rid of the language, it is not necessary, let us use our own imagination as to just how the other side express themselves.

Disappointing. The cursing was over the top. The action was ok. Steve has still got some moves. Its a very cheap action movie.

Not one of his best. Basically unwatchable, the quick editing is hiding Seagal's noticable drop in skills (both acting and martial arts). Not a patch on Under Siege 1 and 2 (some of the best action films ever made). A sorry result for previously one of the greats.

Segal just doesn't look right in this movie. he's become quite pudgy. altho his actions are still extremely quick, i was disappointed. i am a Segal fan, but this movie just didn't do it for me. i do agree with the story line, i would do anything for my family

Too much verbal use of the M.F...ers words in this which did distracted from the viewing concentration. Good storyline otherwise, considering his miserable failure of "Into the Sun" where the Japanese subtitles took precedence over the movie. A little too dark in many scenes, which made it annoying.

Seagal might have put on a few pounds but his movement is a quick as ever. If you enjoy watching him take down the baddies you wont be disappointed.
