Strong bloody violence and themes

Director: Paddy Breathnach
Actors: Arielle Kebbel, Sarah Carter, Stephen Dillane, Andrew Lee Potts, Alex Wyndham, Katie Mcgrath, Myanna Buring

A doctor in a hospital administers a powerful and untested cocktail of drugs to a coma victim. But instead of curing him, it triggers a powerful out-of-body experience and enables the patient - a depraved and dangerous loner - to inhabit other people's bodies and, through them, take revenge on the medical students who were accidentally responsible for his condition. The doctor is also targeted and as her colleagues are singled out and relentlessly picked off, she realises that she can trust no-one - friend or stranger - as this comatose killer moves in and out of bodies at will, getting ever closer as his murderous powers increase.

An awesome ride very much like the fallen with a few changes and well acted, directed and VERY gory for MA15 pushing the boundries of MA15 there. 10 years ago this would had nailed a R18 very easily but times and horror boundries have changed since but it goes silly in the final act when they paint themselves into a cornor and it tries to tie things up a Little bit too quickly but its excellant and horror fans should enjoy.

weak story, not much happened in the time frame, just slow and dull.

Reasonably entertaining. I'd expected a lot worse -- but the acting is convincing and the storyline, while familiar, is solid slasher fare.

Has some good kills, and even though the premise has been done before ah-la Patrick with a hint of The Burning, it still manages to look fresh. Not sure about the title could have been more sequel friendly like Freak Dog something that can have a mythology built around it. The film could have been more confronting going for an R rating.
