Evil is Spreading. Only a few minutes have passed since the authorities lost contact with the people trapped inside the quarantined building. Nobody knows exactly what’s going on inside. The saga started with the same commercial plot of biological infections spreading through corporal fluids, particularly by bites.
Fight against zombies, walking corpses...However, the first film offered something else, something different, something that no new horro films offer: Long periods of time of high tension and despair.
The second part turned over the whole story. Science and religios are conjugated in the plot. A supernatural atmosphera is created, featuring the eternal war of good and evil, priest against demons, and the human beings in the middle.
I have not felt the sensation of "It could happend" since The Exorsist.
