Love this film, leap over prejudice, indulge in the taste, brought out the palete coniseur of our six year old.
Fantastic kids movie, very engaging and enoyable to the last moment
Another brilliant movie by Pixar, just falling short of "UP" in heart and creativity. Excellent in just about every regard.
As expected a very we// and funny story. The scenes of the whole clan of rodents were particularly amusing.
Great fun movie, well written for adults and kids.
I had so much fun watching this movie. I enjoyed it just as much as my kids!
This is a great animation movie, Walt Disney movies are always great to watch. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
Beautiful storyline... Must watch for the entire family !!
Ratatouille was a thoroughly enchanting program and, typical of the standard of all Walt Disney films, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it..
Excellent movie for the whole family.
i did not enjoy it as much as i thought i would
This is enjoyable from start to end the animation is superb as you would expect from PIXAR the story is inspirational an d reminds us to see our dreams through until fulfillment regardless. I feel this is a must see
Great feel good movie about over coming obscurity. A bit hard to understand the French sections as some of the dialogue was very quiet.
Was pleasantly surprised by this (it is a kids show after all). It has humour, but a beautiful story about discrimination. Was an enjoyable film. P.S. Watched it twice, and without the kids too
A brilliant movie. So very clever and very funny. I would endorse it especially as there was no swearing, scary bits or violence. Even with animations these days you're never sure if you can show the kids. Great!!
Directed by Brad Bird.
Utterly delightful animated film about the life & adventures of a remarkable, engaging rat named
Ratatouille who realises his lifelong dream of an haute cuisine chef in one of Paris' finest restaurants.
This is escapism at its best....mixed with a pinch of human spirit, a dash of optimism, & a generous dollop of satisfying drama.
Adults will love this as much as kids (& there's only one musical number to sit through!)
4 & a half out of 5 stars.
Aww I liked this movie and my kids adored it!! It had a bit of everything in it and it was very cleverly done. Sure to become a classic
I thought the movie had a good stort line and is great for the kids under 5 years.
Great movie! A nice way to end a tough week.... light, fun, entertaining and inspiring if you look and the message behind the tale...... listen to your intuition and follow your dreams!
Watched it again today... still great!!!
Great move - very enjoyable for my 3 year and I was equally happy to sit and watch this.
Kids loved it. It was a good movie for all of us to sit and watch together
Great movie, a must watch, good animation and story line...
Bravo! Funny, sad, beautiful....a complete movie. Loved it. How is it that this movie and "Cars" both come from the same people?
Enjoyable and mostly engrossing.Great for a really lazy quiet wet afternoon or evening.Watched it twice.
great kids flick and adult hummer. good to just unwind and watch without having to think!!!
I was unable to watch all of this movie as the disc was damaged, however what I did see was very cute and great animation - very realistic. My boys have seen it before and enjoyed it.
I ordered this one "for the kids" - but had to watch it with them. I loved it. The vibrancy of the colours, the humour and the laughter of the kids - money very well spent.
This film was cute and I enjoyed it.
cutest movie iv seen in a long time. really enjoyed watching it.
Great movie, the kids and adults loved it
This was a fun movie that all the family could watch together. The animation was fabulous and a feel good ending - what more could you want!
Love this movie. Full of laughs. A great one for a family night in!
Great movie! I was never sure how the kids would handle it but they love it. rented over again. real good for we adults as well
This was a lively and fun movie but could be a bit scary in parts for under 5s (going through swirling water, gunshots and evil looking "baddies"). The animation is getting incredibly realistic these days and when supported by an entertaining story line (like this one) it makes for a great night in!
Incredibly entertaining and touching.
This was a great family film.
At first I didn't think I was getting into it, but before I knew it, the film was over and I had loved every bit of it.
The animation is fantastic and the voice actors are great also, although sometimes hard to understand.
I recommend it to all the Disney Pixar lovers out there.
I give it 4/5.
great movie.. highly recomend for everyone
Its great to see that they make films with different cultures for children to see. A very funny and clever film. I really enjoy watching Pixar films!
We enjoyed watching it, some really funny moments.
Cute movie. Great for kids and adults alike.
This was such a great movie, even my 18 month old daughter watched it with me. Loved the music and Peter O'Toole always has the voice for a meanie!!
Very funny . Something in it for all ages.
Loved it. So did my 6-year old daughter. Younger children wouldn't last the distance. Thought it a little long however the clever storyline and the likeable characters made up for it!
Not as good as some other 'computer cartoons', maybe for kids ok.
Another remarkable film created by Pixar. Enjoyable for all ages.
One of the best animated movies around - towards the end I was even beginning to like rats! I know the sequences are a lot smoother, but you must admire the original Disney pioneers of this genre. The story and style were very Disney in character with the enhancement of computer generation. Great fun, although I wouldn't let a very young child watch it without being able to reach Mum quickly!
Being a chef i enjoyed this for the true way in which the creators brought in the reality of the kitchen and the food. The story was positive but not sloppy or crass like some animation of late, and the characters were genuinly humane and real. A lovely film, one that everyone should enjoy.
Ratatouille was a clever little film to watch and was a worthy escape from reality for a while or was it??
Lighthearted entertainment. Quite a few funny moments. Good fun.
My whole family loved this movies, we watched it over and over again....
Fantastic work yet again from the Disney/Pixar combination. There's something in here for young and old, and even though it's animated, the beauty of Paris and posh food are portrayed brilliantly. As usual with Disney/Pixar DVD, there are behind the scenes and additional features to explore for anyone that wants a closer look at the work behind the movie.
A bit disappointing, however I'm sure kids would enjoy it. Adults like myself have probably been spoiled by shows like Shrek with their adult humour.
Of the extras, "The Rat's Tale" was pretty good
This is for kids of all ages. We are 72 & 65 loved it.
Do it for your funny bone.
Not as good as 'Flushed Away' and lacked that certain Gallic charm despite its location... but a good try anyway
good movie, good cast and story animation is amazing will recommend to watch this movie
very cute. the kids loved it.
Great! (or should that be grate?)
very cute movie.kids loved it
The story line wandered a bit and some of the plot was unbelievable. It wasn't the funniest movie I've seen but it was worth watching. High on the cute/feel good factor.
Excellent story, I did not want to return it. My daughter loved it too. The animation used was brilliant & almost human like. They give you a new perspective on food! Would recommend it to all ages
This is a visual marvel. Some of the street scenes are so "real" it makes you think hard about what is really going on in a lot of non-animated films. However, I thought something was lacking in the usual joy de verve department that is so often Pixar's forte and, dare I say it, was possibly a touch too serious for a movie about rats taking over a Parisian restaurant!
I lose interest in animated films after the initial thrill of seeing the superb animation wears off.
I was disappointed that this one did'nt carry me through to the end.
Very funny movie and great for the kids too.
My 4yr old boy really enjoyed it and was still looking for the movie after it was returned one for the buy list
Laugh a minute. Absolutely love this movie!
excellent kids flick, that the whole family enjoyed.
Superb animation....fantastic script and a cast that adds depth to every character. A must see; especially for the kids.
Absolutely delightful......... Great animation, ofcourse, & wickedly funny.
What a fabulous film! This was a complete revelation to me... one of the best animated films - very funny, very clever and a storyline that actually isn't predictable. Just excellent fun, not to be missed!
fantastic movie my kids loved it not a big fan of rats but i also like the movie
was very good would watch again
Excellent movie, a real return to form for Pixar after the disappointing Cars movie. Very funny and good for both adults and kids.
great movie one for every one
Finally an animated movie with something resembling an original script. Very funny in parts. Entertaining right to the end. Great graphics.
Fun movie with a lovely story. Some light entertainment for adults but great kids movie.
Brilliant animation. The short feature "Lifted" is a gem.
Put this on for the kids, but was totally drawn into the story. Its brilliant, I loved it.
Another triumph for the people at Pixar. Entertaining and funny. Quite original.
A Brilliant movie, love everything about, would highly recommend it.
love it! the quality of the animation - colour, lighting etc is supurb
a great family flick my 2 yr old actually sat and watched it too, my eldest is 12 and he enjoyed it. A definate for family viewing as it brings u all together and its something all will enjoy age is no barrier
Another fine effort from Disney-Pixar that the whole family will enjoy.
very cute. kids loved it.
Brilliant for children and adults realy enjoyed this movie
Worth Watching - Rat preparing food in a kitchen is not something you want to watch. Any kind of animal for that matter so might as well.
A family fun, great night in comical movie. Well directed and made and it kept my attention for the whole movie. Fantastic. Thanks
What a cute movie! Smart, funny and so entertaining. I find more and more animations relate to adults than kids, I recommend this for an easy night in.
enjoyable animation and some cute funny moments. perhaps overly moralistic and pushes the 'be kind to others' message too much?
Great story, very original and as usual from Pixar, great animations. Great for adults and kids.
Was worth watching but would've been better if we had a couple of kids.
Excellent all-round family adventure by those clever folks at Pixar and Disney.
great laughs...and a good moral!
Very good movie for the whole family, you just have to hand it too Pixar and Disney who just keep on pumping out all round good entertainment for all ages. A must for all animation fans.
Sphisticated children's film.
Absolutely loved this movie!!! Just brilliant!!! Recommend it to anyone of any age!
THE WHOLE FAMILY ENJOYED EVEN THE HUBBY
kids enjoyed it, I thought it was a bit long and boring in parts
Great movie enjoyed it a lot and so did my son
Nemo's still my favourite, but it was pretty cool!
I loved this movie. It is funny and yet it made me cry at the end. I really recomend watching it, especially if you enjoy cooking just like me : )
Good easy to watch family movie.
Took my 5 y.o. and 2 y.o. to see this movie at the theatre upon release. I sure wish I'd looked into this further before I did. The gun violence at the beginning of this film was excessive and very frightening for both of my kids. We left the theatre 10 minutes in. Given how brilliant Pixar films have been (e.g. Finding Nemo, Cars) I was shocked and disappointed with the depiction of the use of firearms in this film. Be warned!
very good my 3yr really enjoyed it
A lot of fun, amazing animation, but it somehow doesn't quite reach the heights of some other recent animation movies.
A fun, clean, light, entertaining, movie.
The beginning had the most laughs, but still worth watching all the way.
