A brilliant movie. So very clever and very funny. I would endorse it especially as there was no swearing, scary bits or violence. Even with animations these days you're never sure if you can show the kids. Great!!

Adults will love this as much as kids (& there's only one musical number to sit through!)

This was a lively and fun movie but could be a bit scary in parts for under 5s (going through swirling water, gunshots and evil looking "baddies"). The animation is getting incredibly realistic these days and when supported by an entertaining story line (like this one) it makes for a great night in!

This was a great family film.
At first I didn't think I was getting into it, but before I knew it, the film was over and I had loved every bit of it.
The animation is fantastic and the voice actors are great also, although sometimes hard to understand.
I recommend it to all the Disney Pixar lovers out there.

One of the best animated movies around - towards the end I was even beginning to like rats! I know the sequences are a lot smoother, but you must admire the original Disney pioneers of this genre. The story and style were very Disney in character with the enhancement of computer generation. Great fun, although I wouldn't let a very young child watch it without being able to reach Mum quickly!

Being a chef i enjoyed this for the true way in which the creators brought in the reality of the kitchen and the food. The story was positive but not sloppy or crass like some animation of late, and the characters were genuinly humane and real. A lovely film, one that everyone should enjoy.

Fantastic work yet again from the Disney/Pixar combination. There's something in here for young and old, and even though it's animated, the beauty of Paris and posh food are portrayed brilliantly. As usual with Disney/Pixar DVD, there are behind the scenes and additional features to explore for anyone that wants a closer look at the work behind the movie.

This is a visual marvel. Some of the street scenes are so "real" it makes you think hard about what is really going on in a lot of non-animated films. However, I thought something was lacking in the usual joy de verve department that is so often Pixar's forte and, dare I say it, was possibly a touch too serious for a movie about rats taking over a Parisian restaurant!

Took my 5 y.o. and 2 y.o. to see this movie at the theatre upon release. I sure wish I'd looked into this further before I did. The gun violence at the beginning of this film was excessive and very frightening for both of my kids. We left the theatre 10 minutes in. Given how brilliant Pixar films have been (e.g. Finding Nemo, Cars) I was shocked and disappointed with the depiction of the use of firearms in this film. Be warned!
