Horrific title for a sequel, but once you get past that this is probably the most professionally made Rambo film since the original. It doesn't have the over-the-top action qualities of the second and third, but instead works as a convincing anti-war film filled with absolute mayhem. Still not the best (not that I expected it to be) but this one has a lot more merit over some of the previous films. It's very graphic so approach with caution.

More blood and guts than a Friday night down at the local drinking establishment. If you like the first (and best) you will like this blood fest. Body parts and blood a plenty, Edward Cullen would be in all ya can eat blood sucking heaven. Gota love the corny one liners and “serious” acting. Only for the fans, steroid pumpers and disturbed 12 year old boys.

What I hated most about this was having to admit that Sly Stallone is avery good director. Make no mistake, this is a blood and guts machine guns movie, but it is a good one and there is more to it than that. Stallone has crafted this so that the violence is viewed from three different perspectives as three groups take a similar journey with different results. First there are the Christian missionaries, determined to live peacefully and reject violence, but by the end of the film have learned that violence has its place. Then there are the mercenaries. Ready to kill, but not willing to risk their lives for a cause. Rambo teaches them that they must be responsible. Then there is Rambo himself; a killing machine created by the US military, hiding from the world and also himself. He learnes that he has a place in the world and that he is needed and through this he is able to find himself again. That is a lot of depth for a blood and guts movie, but cmbined with Stallone's direction produces a very good movie.

Wow. This was pretty good. Only watched it because a friend lent it to me, but was surprised to find Stallone's still got it. It's the best of the franchise since First Blood. Of course it's stereotypical, but if you're a fan of action / war flicks you'll probably like this one.

Brutal. I must admit I'm not a big fan of Stallone but he goes all out, Japanese style in the graphic bloodshed and also brings light to an important situation that is ignored by the world because of politics. For all out gore and a country that needs to be changed watch it. For too long has Myanmar been outside of the law. 3 and a half!

A fitting end to the franchise. Bring Rambo home on a winning note, and giving him the send off he deserves. For action, give Rambo a try.....seriously.

Rambo is old, and looks it, there's no real plot except "rambo kills heaps of people", and the dialogue is laughable, but that's rambo for you. Pretty much what you would expect, but much heavier on the ultra-violence than the last 3. If you liked the first three, you will like this. I did. But there are definitely better action flicks out there, so probably for fans only.

Old Sylvester can still make an action movie! The plot, such as it is, involves him trying to rescue a group of missionaries from civil war torn Burma. He is accompanying a team of mercenaries paid by the church to get them out. There's quite a few stereotyped characters here and the lead mercenary is a particularly nasty piece of work. It's interspersed with just bits of blood and gore until the last 15 mins when it becomes full on. It builds decent suspense and I was never bored. It was compulsively watchable. If you enjoyed the other films in the series you will enjoy this one.

Hmm, apart from the extreme blood and guts, is this really any different to any of the other Rambo movies?

Ultra violent with blood splashing everywhere, decapitation and more... the surprise is that's finally not bad at all. Well it's war and that's how it should be I guess. Obviously Rambo will kill'em all :) Obviously looks like some other movies you would have seen before (let's think...Oh yep the start looks like Rambo 3) Anyway I didn't enjoy such war action movie for a long long time and it's a real exploit from Stallone to make such genre movie still enjoyable. I will say it that's the best Rambo since the first chapter. For the Bloody fx, check this out!

First Blood was excellent then after that all the Rambo movies became over the top 1 man versus 1 billion viet cong with the 1 man killing them all, this is just an updated version with an older Rambo only killing 1 million viet cong this time.

If you are into full on gory action movies then you will like this. We were laughing and cringing at the same time. But it is not a great Rambo movie in that he donesn't have a whole lot to do. He does his stuff in about two scenes, and one of them is just with a massive truck-mounted machine gun. I missed the stealth and tricks from the first 2 installments.

This has more blood and guts than a blood and guts factory. I liked it, this is the way all the Rambo shoot up everyone films should have been like. I guess they have only just got the computer special effects generated blood to a point they can do it like this. On a couple of occassions you could see it was CG but most of it looked pretty damn good. If you liked the other Rambo films, you will love this one.

Pulled no punches with its violence but it was a great shoot em up movie and the storyline was workable. I'm very fussy when rating stars in todays movies but this one is a definate must see if you are into action, violence and mayhem. Jon Rambo you are a star.

Why did they bother making this. The only redeeming feature was that it was all over in 75 minutes. If they're thinking of making another chapter, please don't !!!!!

Don't think I've ever seen a Rambo movie before, but this was a really good movie. Very gory so not for the faint of heart. Not much dialogue but then who wants it in a movie like this?
