I do not understand why so many people are fascinated by this film, the main characters are gangsters, speaking violent language and using guns without hesitation, not nice people at all. At the same time, some lines of dialog are sparkling indeed but it is rather highly unlikely that any real gangsters make such brilliant exchanges. I find it rather shocking that society as a whole is fond of "entertainment" of this sort. It was not a nice experience for me, this pulp film...

Great movie, a real send up of gansterdom. This is an R rated movie due, in part, to HIGH LEVEL COURSE LANGUAGE. If you don't like lots of 4 letter words in your movies DONT GET IT OUT. But save us the whinges in the reviews about how bad the language was - please!! There is also drug use - DITTO. There is also MEDIUM LEVEL VIOLENCE - DITTO. Wonderful, off beat but enjoyable characters and great script.

Probably the greatest of Quentin Tarantino's films, expect foul language, violence and...a brilliant, cult-attracting film. Great music and great acting (especially the one film where Bruce Willis didn't play some predictable, middle-aged women's heartthrob) I highly recommend it for everybody to watch at least once.

What a messed up mix of stories of gun toting American gangsters. It seems that they can best sort out an argument with a gun.

You would have to be twisted to like this film. I am astonished so many reviewers thought it great. F+++ everywhere, in every meaning of the term, and s### ditto. Menace and murder all the way. Well, presumably all the way. I didn't get all the way. Who recommended this garbage?

After hearing so much about this film for so many years I finally got around to watching it. Can't say that it entirely lived up to the hype but it was a good film nonetheless. Basically, I understand it to simply be an examination of violent gang culture although others have tried to read a lot more into it. A pretty much, "all star cast" that does a good job. The writing was excellent and the story was a good inter-weaving one although it lacked some overall 'point'.

I don't understand the fuss about this movie. I found it overly-violent, disjointed and extremely hard to follow. There is one good scene (where a couple hold up a restaurant and the two hitmen) that might earn it an extra half star..

I must be the last person on earth to see this. He's a great film maker and it is very good. Dance scene disappointed. Could have been twenty minutes shorter . He got better at editing by Kill Bill (1&2) both of which move along with better rhythm and more pace. But tremendous nonetheless.

What is it about Quentin Tarrantino Movies that compels you to watch them again and again. The subject matter.... Hitmen, Mob Bosses, Losers. The cast? Who would'nt want John Travolta, Samuel L Jackson, Uma to star in their productions? The Plot? Was there one? The Music ? fantastique! Who can tell ; I just attribute it to accidental Genius....or?
