Prowl (After Dark Originals) (2010)

Actually i did not mind this movie,not fantastic but ok.

In hindsight, i woudn't bother watching this movie. Lots of blood and gore and the usual storyline. Nothing out of the ordinary. Seen much better horror movies than this.

Awesome. A good genre flick!

These After Dark originals are extremely disappointing. Give them a miss.

Found this vampire movie boring & a typical horror movie style.

Might have been able to enjoy it more if a few issues were addressed. Firstly the creatures are too vampire like, either be vampires or don't be, the film was aiming for ambiguity which only invites annoyance for someone like me who is tired of vamps. Also the powers of the monsters seem too excessive to require practice hunting, these kids should have been killed in a matter of minutes. Either the predators are really stupid or can't think for themselves. In all the movie is set up for one unsatisfactory twist that in retrospect only adds to the plot holes.

Brillant horror film that takes its cue from 30 days of night and even feels like a side story of it. Amber wants to leave her hometown and with friends she leaves for the big city but they break down and a friendly trucker offers them a lift but things as not as they appear and they are trapped and hunted by creatures. Acting is well done for this type of film and the direction is smooth with a sense of doom within the slaughterhouse and a few well placed jump scenes. The effects are well done and its quite a gory film with enough blood and gore to please the fans myself included. Theres an ingenious twist in the 3rd act that most wil lfind strange and it tries to be arty with jump cuts of scenes not relevant to the storyline ala Angel and the way they changed scenes but apart from these small faults its def an awesome film and horror esp vampire fans should enjoy.

Was what I expected. Has prompted me to check out more After Dark movies. Enjoyed it alot more then expected.

Couldn't even watch the whole movie, absolutley terrible! Bad storyline and acting!!!

There is a full series of random blood and gore movies, this is one of them. If you love blood and vampires and everyone dies .....then this is a great movie for you!
