I wanted to watch this after watching 'My Week with Marilyn'. An old fuddy duddy movie with a silly premise. Costumes and the acting from the famous actors was wonderful. But the absolute stand out is Marilyn. She absolutely captured the screen in every shot she was in. She had the dumb blonde bit down pat and worked it. As good as Michelle Williams was in her movie she wasn't a patch on the real Marilyn. (Just in case you didn't know 'My Week with Marilyn' was a movie about the making of this movie and worth a look)
A crazy brilliant flick that in the end still leaves you wondering - is it true love? Is it an elaborate jerry-built spy plot? Mesmerising performances from both leads, who apparently hated one another.
Wonderful acting by Marilyn in this movie. She quite put Sir Laurence in the shade. Beautiful background filmed in the streets of London. I saw it many years ago and enjoyed it just as much now.
Good relax with absolutly fabulous M.M. and fantastic L.O.
A comedy that stands the test of time well. Monroe and Olivier are superb in this film, they seem to enjoy making it. Marylin's acting, often overlooked, displays among her many talents that she is a wonderful comic actress.
