A Perfect Getaway (2009)

Loved it, great twist and not the twist I was expecting

That was an enthralling movie. Loved every minute of it. Very good twists.

I'm definitely known as a Milla Jovovich fan, but this five stars is unbiased. The acting from both her and Steve Zahn is very commendable, feeling natural and like you're just chatting away with them. Written in such a way that it completely throws you off from the start, but has you thinking 'now they want us to think it's him', or 'that's too obvious, i'm still unsure', when they start to bring you in on the truth, you don't quite get what you're seeing at first - it makes sense, but it's so far from you were thinking you were so smart to have worked out. Set against a beautiful backdrop and with the awesome force that is Timothy Olyphant, this movie makes you think, gives your eyes a feast whatever your sexuality, and doesn't let you just sit back and enjoy the ride.

Corny! Victims are really the baddies! Big Deal. The best thing about it was the scenery from Hawaii. Definitely don't bother!

Preposterous! Didn't anyone read the ridiculous script. No wonder it went straight to DVD. Can't believe the positive reviews posted on this site. This is the worst film I have seen in years-saved only by some lush Hawaiian scenery.

Really enjoyed this movie... Great twist and very well executed. My suggestion, don't try and guess the ending, just grab your popcorn, sit back and just go with the flow of the movie... You won't be disappointed =)

Two pairs of lovers on a Hawaiian vacation discover that psychopaths are stalking and murdering tourists on the islands. Enoyable enough movie which gets better as the film progresses.

Looks good on all fronts, from stars to scenery. Twists keep it intriguing. End seemed poorly written. Set in the forestst of Hawaiin islands I just couldn't help but to keep expecting a T-rex or a Velociraptor to come out and gobble them up!

i quite liked this movie. seeing Steve Zahn in this type of role was different, but good (love him in comedies). if you like a bit of action / who dunit, take a look. Chris Hemsworth

I'm not one of those people that brag about 'getting it in the first 10 minutes'. Why would you want to do that? This is a fabulous movie. Just sit back and let the plot unfold and stop trying to work it out. There are some great twists here. Star of the movie is the relative newcomer, Kiele Sanchez - great work girl!

The twist is so ridiculous that I can't still believe it. I was thinking "Don't tell me that..." thinking that it can't logically be. I was right and they didn't really care that there was a lot of nonsense when you know the end. Otherwise, It was pretty slow and was wondering many times when the flick was going to start for good. Disappointing!

i found it extremly boring in parts and with a predicable ending with not much suspense. not much can be said bout this one

I found this an entertaining film. Just when you think you know who the killers are, something happens that gives you doubts, so it keeps you guessing. The suspense and violence doesn't occur till about three quarters of the way through, so the first part of the film is all about getting to know the characters and wondering who is lying. Apart from some of the characters being a bit overdone, I enjoyed watching the unfolding of the story.

expecting an average film and i got a below average film. what i can say about the film is that it had good thing but there is more bad things then good things. I called the twist about 5 mins in but the twist was bad but something different at the same time but had a great cast not a good film.
