This is the World War II story of a group of Australian, British and Dutch women who, after the 1942 fall of Singapore, were held captive in Sumatra by the Japanese. The women soon discovered that you had to be the strongest and the bravest to possibly survive such inhumane conditions. Based on a true story.

An interesting story of what it was like as a POW, female style. The horrors of prison life are offset by the spirit of the women who refused to be broken by the Japanese army. Powerful drama.
