Director: Garry Marshall
Actors: Kurt Russell, Roddy McDowall, Katherine Helmond, Goldie Hawn, Edward Herrmann

Goldie Hawn portrays Joanna Stayton, the demanding, pampered, inconsiderate wife of a pretentious, yacht owning socialite. When their boat gets stuck for repairs in the harbour of a tiny Oregon town, bored and impatient Joanna employs carpenter Dean Proffitt (Kurt Russell) to improve her closet space. After completing the job, Dean asks to be paid only to be turned down by Joanna who deems the work unacceptable. So, when in one of her trademark snits, Joanna falls overboard and gets amnesia, Dean hatches a no-fail plot for revenge. Taking Joanna home with him, he renames her Annie and in a stroke of retributive genius, tells her that she is the mother of his four unruly children!

I have to give this the full 5 stars due to the enormous enjoyment me and my family had watching this. I am reluctant to watch old movies I have seen before and despite a simplistic story and the light heartedness, this is a rare and a great watch a cute and funny love story. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell as actors are 10 out of 10. no one could have done better - the acting was amazing !!

This movie was absolute rubbish. People being horrible to each other is not comedy, nor is enslaving someone romantic. Don't waste your time with this one.

If you love the romantic comedy genre then you won't want to miss this. The very definition of the genre.
