NYPD Detectives Christopher Danson and PK Highsmith (Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L Jackson) are the baddest and most beloved cops in New York City. They don't get tattoos - other men get tattoos of them. Two desks over and one back, sit Detectives Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) and Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg). You've seen them in the background of photos of Danson and Highsmith, out of focus and eyes closed. They're not heroes - they're "The Other Guys." But every cop has his or her day and soon Gamble and Hoitz stumble into a seemingly innocuous case no other detective wants to touch that could turn into New York City's biggest crime. It's the opportunity of their lives, but do these guys have the right stuff?

I am surprised at all the reviews panning this movie - I loved it! It was so much better than I expected. If you like '30 rock' then you'll like this.

Funniest comedy in a long, long time. Clever nod to the financial crisis worked into the plot nicely. No lame ending like every other comedy. For fans of shows like 'Eastbound

No way would I recommend this movie to my family or friends. It was not even funny, just stupid.

What is it with American humour - they often seem to go just too far with it and end up being plain stupid? This was a movie just like that, over-done characters - and over-done acting; we got sick of it after around 30 mins and switched it off! Just plain dumb!

Probably the un-funniest move of all time. Terrible, just terrible. The "jokes" were lame, the acting bad and the plot virtually non-existant. I stopped watching after 1 hour and will never ever ever finish watching it.

Very good Will Ferrell movie, one of the funniest i've seen, he does a different kind of character in this one so it's slightly different to his other films.
