The Odd Are About To Get Even. Boog, a domesticated 900lb. Grizzly bear finds himself stranded in the woods 3 days before Open Season. Forced to rely on Elliot, a fast-talking mule deer, the two form an unlikely friendship and must quickly rally other forest animals if they are to form a rag-tag army against the hunters.

My children found the storyline scary and most of the charaters mean. They both asked for it to be turned off because they didnt like it.

I loved this movie even though it is a cartoon based movie, there are plently of well known actors and actresses as the voices and it is funny throughout the entire movie not only in sections. My children had already seen this movie and i wanted to watch it to find out what the big fuss was about and even though it is a childs flick the humour through out the movie which most of it goes over the childrens head, attends to the adults perception and is quite hillarious. One movie i plan to watch again and buy myself.

Very entertaining for my child and I found it quite funny. A nice movie to sit down and watch with the kids on a weekend.

A surprise hit for me. It is somewhat unpretentious, compared to those Disney movies that are churned out every year. This film hits you with surprise one-liners and bizarre takes on the 'fish out of water' storyline. While the deer is annoying, he has some classic scenes such as being held over the cliff and 'dropped' by his bear buddy. Gotta watch it to see what I mean.

Great family movie. 12yr old loved it - 5 yr old loved it, and my husband and I enjoyed it as well. Martin Lawrence as the bear Boog kept almost slipping into his "Big Momma" voice which made me giggle a bit.

Another fine production from the team at Dreamworks. I didn't think the voices of Martin Lawrence and Ashton Kutcher would work, but they are perfect. Not as much of a kids film as some of the other recent animated features, so very worthwhile for adults. Very funny.
