Francis Ford Coppola's 'One From The Heart' is a romantic comedy, a musical fantasy and an erotic love story set amidst the neon glitter of Las Vegas on a Fourth of July weekend.
The story concerns two ordinary people in this city of gambling and dreamers, Franny (Teri Garr) and Hank (Frederic Forrest) who have somehow lost the romance in their lives. Their fifth (unmarriage) anniversary becomes the occasion for a hot-tempered argument in which Franny declares they are breaking up once and for all.
It's now how they leave on their own separate ways, how their paths criss-cross throughout the night and finally come together again in the morning that make the journey what it is...
When Francis Ford Coppola Makes A Love Story...Don't Expect Hearts And Flowers.

Couldn't even sit through it. Thought at first it was the acting, but figured out it was the LAME script!

Unlike the critics I have allways loved this movie. Extremely stylised it still maintains emotion and involvement. A love story with a very big difference, it neeeds to be seen more than once.

A curiosity, revealing to how a great film-maker can with the best of intentions and ambitions, miss the mark. There are a couple of impressive sequence but the fil doesn't cohere or connect in the lyrical and honest way it obviosuly wants to achieve. A noble failure.
