Before the era of special effects, sound engineering and big budgets, a good movie relied on great script writing and acting. This movie reminded me how good a movie could be without needing any extra trappings.

What a delightful movie. This was the first time of seeing it and I was suitably impressed, that I would see it again. A lovely story, superb acting.

The actors of Hepburn and Fonda make you believe it is a casual eavesdropping of us in to their lives. Brilliant relaxed and entertaining.

A timeless classic, filmed just a year before Henry Fonda passed away. Both he and Audry Hepburn picked up Oscars for Best Actor in this movies, which I think should say it all. Just be warned; if you have any lingering issues with your parents you might find it, um, uncomfortable...

Simple, sentimental story leavened by strong performances with a few edges to them.
