Easily on my top 20 favourite horror films of all time. Damien is one creepy kid and Gregory Peck is phenomenal in his leading role (still no Atticus Finch though). It's definitely not up everyone's alley, but I do think that everyone should at least give it a go. This movie is great!

When I first saw this in the 1970s I was absolutely petrified. Maybe because I'm older, or I am used to seeing worse things in movies now, but it didn't seem as scary this time around. Still, it was a good movie and one of the first ones of the genre in the 70s.

Gregory Peck and a pretty good supporting cast are not nearly enough to save the film from its c-grade plot. A few good moments, but difficult to be shocked (circa 2007) by references to the antichrist, 666, dubious biblical prophecies etc

An old classic about Damien the devil child. Spawned two sequels but this is by far the best. Classic good versus evil movie, along the same lines as the Exorcist.

Be sure not to miss this great horror film. Of course its a classic and therefore a new generation are bound to enjoy it. I miss the good old days when TV would play movies like this. You could stay up late and scare yourself silly! Has some great acting throughout, and if you really enjoy it you should try to read the book. The soundtrack is killer and if you get a chance to buy it do so. Be sure to add this little gem to your queue at once!

Although hard not to laugh at all the 70's wardrobe, this still packs a mighty spooky punch. Got to love it when the bad guys win.....Or do they???
