Twelve is the new eleven.

Set three years after Ocean's 11, this sequel shows us Danny Ocean gathering up his complete gang of con artists and thieves from the first film in New York City before they all jet off to Amsterdam, Rome, and Paris to pull off three seperate heists. All the while, the boys must deal with increasing pressure from a very mad Terry Benedict, a dedicated Europol agent, and a mysterious French rival simply called Dinner Jacket. Will Ocean's crew reach their full potential and become the greatest thieves the world has ever known, or will they fall victim to Benedict's revenge? All bets are off.

This movie sucked in so many ways. My wife and I kept thinking of different aspects of it that sucked for days afterwards. The "plot" was a load of rubbish, that had so many holes it was ludicrous. There were entire scenes that didn't make sense - when you had everything "revealed" at the end, it showed that the gang had been going through the motions with themselves. Don't put this on your list!!!

More fun from George, Brad and the crew. Ignore the plot holes and how quickly everything somehow comes together and enjoy it for the escapist fun that it is. CJZ is stunning and actually makes Julia Roberts look drab.

One twist too many, and unlike Ocean's Eleven, this one felt lacking organization and it doesn't flow as well as the first one did. Besides that, awesome cast, fun to watch and some laughs here and there.

If you liked the first one, then the sequeal should appeal also. Amazing cast, why can't we get casts like this in more films? Although the whole Tess/Julia Roberts impersonation thing was stretching it a bit...

Perhaps it was the small screen, but I found the story line rather disjointed and difficult to follow. Not as good as Ocean's 11!

This movie has a star cast and was busy and light hearted. But you had to pay attention and keep thinking to tie all the parts of the story together. If you didn't, you could have just enjoyed the funny moments all through the film.

Worth watching - just. Riding on the back of Ocean's 11 and assuming too much foreknowledge, it's fun in places. George Clooney does not much. Brad Pitt at least had a coherent story line. The other memebers of the team made no impression (I should mention that at this stage I hadn't seen the modern 'Ocean's 11')and Julia Roberts was just plain irritating. Fortunately, The Welsh Goddess combined with Brad will keep you hanging in there. Vincent Cassel was cool. Loved the entirely unconvincing laser sequence. Andy Garcia - could have been anyone of a dozen 'bad guy' actors. Robbie Coltrane - wasted here. The capers weren't that clever either, especially the central one! All in all, let's wait for the third movie where the team joins forces with Andy and, hopefully, Vincent Cassel will return as the Adversary.

As a sequel to Ocean's 11 I was disappointed due to the fragmented way it was put together. Also, I do not believe that serious crime and comedy make a good mix, especially the second time around.

I didn't find this as good as Ocean's 11, in fact I thought it could have ended about 1/2 an hour before it did. But for fans of George Clooney and the plethora of other famous actors in the cast it is an enjoyable distraction

After seeing Oceans 11 I thought this crew could not redeem themselves, however, I stand corrected. I liked it from beginning to end I thought that this movie is exactly what a storyline should be. Oceans 12 didn’t try to be believable it just entertained. With action and comedy combined so successfully I thought that little could be done to improve the movie’s appeal, this was until I took the soundtrack into account.

Either a patchy screenplay, dodgy editing, or both. Definately trying too hard to replicate that cool edge Ocean's 11 had, a movie I could watch over & over. I would wait till it comes out on TV or you are desperate enough to add it to your dwindling queue.

If you liked Oceans 11, you may like this, but very silly story and attempts twists that make little or no sence and are over the top and too conveniently "holywood" style.

Clever to have Bruce Willis and Tess as Julia Roberts, but otherwise a bit long/slow. With so many characters, one has to have watched Ocean's 11 first.

The only believable acting is when Bruce Willis plays himself, otherwise there are too many stars trying to out do each other. I think some inclusion on the DVD that explained what happened in Oceans 11 would had been good as I felt I was missing something until about half and hour from the end trying to work out who everyone was to find out its lame.

A superb offering, especially for a sequel. My only beef was that the train scene was omitted from the story until the end. If that was in there, without explanation, I would love it for the sleight of hand it should have been. "Introducing Tess as Julia Roberts" (in the final credits) - I loved that. You will, of course, have no idea what that means until you watch it, and watch it you must!
