Good but flawed combination of war and horror film is about a squad who is sent to find a holy man in the desert but is killed off by supernatural and unknown forces. The acting is strong but the direction after a professional set up tends to wander halfway thou but theres a great twist ending which will def bring Signs to mind. There is quite a few plot holes in the film as well as characters are killed off with no explanation either in places. But the special effects are only so-so and they dont really give a clear explanation dancing around the subject but not really explaining it. The so called foes they fight look like triforces from Legend of Zelda thou look decent enough still looked out of place despite the setting. A decent effort and well worth the rental as this film is certainly different and interesting enough to hold the viewers interest.
