This is pretty cool. There is not much by way of hiden comedy for adults but the true blue ausie culture that australian children are less subject to these days is ripe. It is made up of all the olf australian peoms and songs acted out (with a bit more action thrown in) with the same cast of cartoon aussie animals....... my son just loves it (and he's not a TV watcher). I think it would make everyone say at some point "oh yeah, I remember that!!!!"

I love the movies classified within the General category as whole family can watch together and parents and children can enjoy together. This movie is no doubt the worst movie I've ever seen but I am basing my coment on the 5 minutes I watched because I could not watch any more than that. The computerized graphics are so poor that some of the animals I could not even work it out what they were: if a lizard or a gecko, but as a matter of fact it looked more like a cane toad to me. The story is about an american dog that falls out of a truck in the outback Australia, so I thought the lady that appears in the first scenes in the movie is probably aborigine, I am only guessing here, but the graphics are so poor that she looks African to me. Conclusion based on the 5 minutes watched: a movie made using so poor graphic program where animals and all people in general talk to one another is too unreal for any adult to enjoy. Honestly I believe only children under 5 years of age might enjoy Oakie's Outback Adventure. I can not even rate it 1 star!
