Inspector Wing (Jackie Chan) is Hong Kong's most decorated police officer, but he's about to fall from grace. A band of young thieves hits a large bank, and when the cops arrive on the scene, the robbers shoot them down in cold blood. When Inspector Wing's elite unit is put on the case, he vows to catch the killers in under three hours. Acting on a tip, they storm the thieves' hideout... but they're stepping right into a trap. The place is a labyrinth, rigged as a giant video game - and Wing must watch helplessly as, one by one, his team is brutally slaughtered by the audacious gangsters. A year later, the supercop is a distant memory, drowned in a bottle of whiskey. But rookie cop Frank is determined to make Wing clean up his act and return to the force, so that the fallen hero can finish the case he started. The bank robbers are still at large, but their days are numbered. Inspector Wing and his new partner are gearing up for the final round of a very dangerous game... and they have nothing left to lose.

Absoloute vintage Jackie Chan - feels like a genuine continuation of the POlice Story series. Can't believe it came out in the 2000s!

With a plot 'inspired' by a famous plotline from Batman, and an older and less mobile Jackie Chan, the latest (and hopefully not last) installment of the Police Story series is still a winner. With cracking set action pieces and Jackie Chan action, this is pretty cool.

Excellent use of technology and 'gadgets' whilst retaining the feel of the original Police Story movies. The motive of the villians keeps you guessing at the beginning while the motive of Jackie's sidekick (played by Nic Tse) keeps you guessing till the end.
