Just an ok movie only saved by the great performance of Sir Ian McKellen and the music of Philip Glass.

A bit too slow, and the storyline was sometimes hard to follow. Was not our favourite.

The script was Ok.The clothes and scenery realistic. The actors were good. Not every day names so it was a cast piece. The story was different to the one I have but why did she have to quote John Donne? He was at least 200 years later in history. Couldnt they have written their own poetry for the film?

A very bizarre film. The acting itself is superb, the story rather disjointed, and the photography not as good as it should be. The continuity in the film is poor -- scenes unfinished, in one scene Gabriel is carrying the lantern, a moment later Zach is carrying it, etc. The portrayal of mentally ill persons is extremely unreal, as anyone with experience in caring for the mentally ill would know; the group therapy session is highly unrealistic. Nevertheless, the nucleus of the story holds promise, it just needed a better writer, far better direction, and much better editing.

Beautiful little movie -- part fantasy, part psychological examination.

This movie turned out to be better than I expected. The plot has a similar premise to K-PAX which I quite enjoyed.

Delightful fantasy which required you to be alert and taking in all the clues as you went along with the story.

Superb acting, one of the best story lines I've seen in a film in years.

Some big names couldn't save this from being nothing more than a meaningless mess.
