Some sexual references and nudity

Director: Guy Maddin
Actors:

Starring B-movie goddess Ann Savage (Detour) and filmed in stunning black and white, Guy Maddin's dreamlike homage to his home city of Winnipeg, Manitoba, is one of his finest, with a visionary aesthetic which is sure to excite the audience's imagination.

Hiring actors to play his mother, his sister and his two brothers, My Winnipeg is exactly that: Maddin's own account of the events—real or imaginary—which affected his life. While he may wish to escape his life in Canada's north, from the sleepwalking locals to the frozen, fleeing horses, My Winnipeg is testimony to the unique experiences of childhood and the way it may shape one's artistic sensibilities.

Starts slow but then lifts off into a delirious "docu-fantasia" (Maddin's term) focused on Winnipeg, Manitoba but spliced with family history, personal reveries, balderdash, and sleepwalking (dreamwalking?). Maddin monologue with mad montage.
