Best Oscar winner Rex Harrison reprises his signature stage role of Henry Higgins, the supremely assured phoeneticist who wagers that under his tutelage, cockney flower girl Eliza Doolittle can pass for a duchess at the Embassy Ball. In one of her best loved roles, Audrey Hepburn plays Eliza. If ever there was a face the professor could grow accustomed to, it's hers.

Audrey Hepburn classic... Yes this was for me a road to memory lane.. never seen the movie mut remember the songs... Acting excellent, the right length (nearly 3hrs) the songs excellent.... of course for today very politically incorrect.. English pompous! but hey it was great! loved the music loved the acting.. a laugh and a tear.. a nice sing-a-long!

A wonderful re-mastered film loaded with colour. The music is stunning, with some clever acting and a great script (based closely on the play). A pleasure to watch again, highly recommend.

Audrey Hepburn classic...Wonderful as always, but new viewers be aware that this is reasonably long and at times a little slow. But the story is played out beautifully, with Audrey Hepburn's character impeccably human and her transformation heartwarming. You rejoice with her as she has moments of success, your heart aches as she experiences the sting of thoughtlessness and being overlooked, and celebrate with her as she finds the reluctant gentleman in the proud and somewhat pompous loner that is the Professor. Some classic lines, classic songs and classic actors in this movie. Fab!

This movie had a slow start but got better towards the end. I'm not a fan of all the singing. Good, simple storyline. My 8 yr old son enjoyed it.

It wasn't as good as I expected it to be but still worth watching. Audrey Hepburn played her part well.

Great scripting, the roles of Men and ladies is so distinguished and well done here. How they displayed relationships and how each reacts in times of trial, was perfect, and true to life. Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn, great match up. A touch too long!

Excellent restoration, better color and soundtrack than the original. I saw it 3 times before I reluctantly returned it.
