The story of one young womans courage in the face of one of the most mysterious crimes in Australian history. After surviving the terrifying outback abduction of her boyfriend. Joanne Lees became the victim of a relentless trial by media across two continents. The events following Joanne Lees Northern Territory ordeal would be enough to destroy anyone. With no body to speak of, reported sightings of Peter, and revelations Joanne had cheated on her boyfriend, the public and media in both Britain and Australia refused to accept Joannes innocence on face value. But why? Did people actually believe she was guilty? Or did people not want to believe such a horrific story could be true? Now, with Bradely Murdoch found guilty and Joanne vindicated, its finally time to hear her story.

This movie leaves the viewer with some doubts as to whether the real killer is behind bars. The acting was great, unfortunately poor Joanne seems to be the victim here, in a case where the intial investigation leaves the viewer in two minds. Good acting by the usual Aussie acting suspects.

The combination of the media and the law leave much to be desired. What a fiasco.

Shows the events of what happened out there but still no insight to where the body might be. A bit like the Chamberlains' case.

Thought this movie looked familiar when I began to watch it. It had been on TV not so long ago but was still a good one to see again. Didn't like the way that the police treated her. One for the "To Watch" list.

Give it a miss. It didn't tell you anything about the story that you didn't already know. The actress that played Joanne Lees was very whiny and irritating to watch. The story was jumpy and and left out relevant parts that would have been integral to the real life drama.
