I do like sequels that carry on from the original, and this one does just that.
Mushu is still a pain and causes more havoc than is intended.

Didnt enjoy it anywhere as much as the original. It is very short (less than 70 minutes plus credits) and proposes the view that personal happiness is more important than the safety and continuance of the realm. The best characters were silent.

This is better than many Disney sequels, and a decent musical with songs that actually fit into the story rather than dragging you out of it. However, the underlying message seems to be "Behave as badly as you want - if you fix things in the end, who cares?"

My grand kids enjoyed this second Mulan, especially the antics of the dragon and that is the main thing. Not as good as the first one in my opinion.
