I am a fan of Mr. Bean however, not quite so in this film. I didn't feel he portrayed himself to be the typical Mr. Bean as he usually does so well in his tv series. Something was lacking? The only bit I found really really funny was the restaurant and oyster scene. There were a couple of other bits which made me giggle, but that was about it.

This is sooo very bad it is what makes it funny. Doesn't live up to the tv series or Whistler's Mother by any means. Very slow start, but with some classic segments in the middle. It is worth watching as a group to see the agony of the watchers. In the end we were in stitches just simply due to its badness! Got spare time... watch it for the sake of it!

Classic BEAN! All the stuff that belongs in a BEAN movie, great to watch. Idiotic simple scenes that cause a chuckle or an all-out laugh. Good fun

It's a Mr Bean movie- what else can you say. Actually, better than I was expecting. I wasn't going to watch it. Not just a collection of skits loosely tied together. One or two laughs even for a reluctant viewer. Not bad at all.

This is Bean at his best. A lovely warm & fuzzy story which shows how harmless this little freak really is, despite his obvious weirdness! I was so glad there were no snot scenes, which Bean seems to love! One of the best feel good movies ever, with no foul language or gratuitous sex scenes. Is Bean really falling in love??

For Mr Bean fans a nostalgic return to a world of innocence and unintended mayhem. Not every gag works, but the movie will quickly move on to the next that does. The deleted scenes show there were plenty more that didn’t quite make it. The bonus material is particularly good providing short and sharp commentary on how and why being Mr Bean is a whole lot harder than it looks.

What a BORE!!!! I love Mr. Bean on television. But this movie is a waste of time and talent. Why did they make this piece of junk with the talent that starred in it??? Watch the television shows, you will laugh a lot more!

I have never been a fan of Mr Bean the TV series yet love Rowan Atkinson, as a comedian and an Actor. It wasn't until the brilliance of Mr Bean in a tale about a museum curator and a picture named Whistler's Mother, that I began to see the brilliance of Mr Bean. I love the dichotomy of other characters talking, whilst Mr Bean mumbles and uses his body language to convey his message and sometimes this message is mis-interpreted leading to some unfortunate incidents for Mr Bean. Often he is in the wrong place at the wrong time and nothing goes as planned. This is the theme and idea behind all Mr Bean's story lines. Having said that I was looking forward to this movie, sadly it didn't live up to the brilliance I was expecting. There are some laugh out loud moments and sheer Mr Bean inspired times yet overall it lacks a major spark. Rowan Atkinson does try to create a new problem by putting Mr Bean in a non-English speaking country yet this doesn't work as Mr Bean communicates in other ways. Still worth watching for the chuckle and a feel good movie.

I was cringeing at his stupidity and wanting to turn it off after 10 mins. But then I've never been a Bean fan. I hired it as I seen the amusing trailer and thought it was worth giving this Bean phenomenon a 2nd go. Sadly the ONLY 2 funny scenes in the whole movie were IN the trailer... the other 70 mins were a huge cringe.

Well, what can one say. Starts fairly slow and finishes just a little better. A few laughs along the way however there is no too much to be missed by not seeing this movie. However, if it was the last movie available in the world to watch, I would give it a go.

Classic Bean moments littered through an otherwise tedious film. If this was condensed into a 1/2 hour Bean TV episode it would great but as a full length movie it is irritating at times where you vacillate between the urge to turn the whole thing off or to hang on for the funny bits. You'd have to be a major Bean fan to make it worthwhile, otherwise a waste of time.
