I am a fan of Mr. Bean however, not quite so in this film. I didn't feel he portrayed himself to be the typical Mr. Bean as he usually does so well in his tv series. Something was lacking? The only bit I found really really funny was the restaurant and oyster scene. There were a couple of other bits which made me giggle, but that was about it.
I quite like Rowan Atkinson usually, but I actually found this a bit ordinary.
It's been a while since Mr.Bean has been on TV and he's still funny. though a little boring towards the end.
I absolutely love this movie Mr Bean rocks
This is sooo very bad it is what makes it funny. Doesn't live up to the tv series or Whistler's Mother by any means. Very slow start, but with some classic segments in the middle. It is worth watching as a group to see the agony of the watchers. In the end we were in stitches just simply due to its badness! Got spare time... watch it for the sake of it!
the first movie was fantastic ... this outing was worse than any tv adventure i have ever seen .... turned it off after the first 30mins yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn
Typical Bean style, not many words, but hilarious in action. Great for all the family
Our 11 year old enjoyed this immensly was a bit too silly for mum and dad though
hmmm, annoying the sounds he makes.
Kids thought it was hysterical.
Mr Bean's Holiday. I like the story line and how he got to his destination in the end. I thought it was silly but funny too.
i know a lot of people think "mr bean" is funny... but i dont get it... couldn't get into the movie..
This is the best Mr Bean movie ever!
As always excellent movie!!
Classic BEAN! All the stuff that belongs in a BEAN movie, great to watch. Idiotic simple scenes that cause a chuckle or an all-out laugh. Good fun
a bit slow. the last half hour was pretty good, sadley you might be asleep before it gets there.
My 6 & 4 year old grandchildren loved it, but the rest of us older kids thought it was just very basic old routines from such a previously wonderful talented man. Just OK
This is the worst movie I have ever seen in my life! I didn't laugh one bit. It was uninventive and even my 4 year old didn't find it amusing. Bad bad movie! Don't waste your time watching it.
Very funny, enjoyed the movie.
It's a Mr Bean movie- what else can you say. Actually, better than I was expecting. I wasn't going to watch it. Not just a collection of skits loosely tied together. One or two laughs even for a reluctant viewer. Not bad at all.
Plenty of laughs via ''his'' Famous slapstick comedy routines and would recommend it to anyone.
Good movie, worth watching. Need a laugh here and there today.
Worth Watching - I don't have high hope before watching it. So it turns out ok for me.
I enjoy Mr Bean. He is always worth a giggle. My family loved it.
This is Bean at his best. A lovely warm & fuzzy story which shows how harmless this little freak really is, despite his obvious weirdness! I was so glad there were no snot scenes, which Bean seems to love! One of the best feel good movies ever, with no foul language or gratuitous sex scenes. Is Bean really falling in love??
Hillarious moments! This film does the character far more justice than the first film. The closest thing to a modern day Charlie Chaplin movie.
I have only one word for this film DISASTER!!!.... tsk tsk Rowan Akinson how could you!?!
great film. laughed my way through.
Great movie for the whole family, laughed alot-Very funny.
If you like the Mr Bean TV show, then this is a must. Rowan Atkinson at his best.
For Mr Bean fans a nostalgic return to a world of innocence and unintended mayhem. Not every gag works, but the movie will quickly move on to the next that does. The deleted scenes show there were plenty more that didn’t quite make it. The bonus material is particularly good providing short and sharp commentary on how and why being Mr Bean is a whole lot harder than it looks.
What a BORE!!!! I love Mr. Bean on television. But this movie is a waste of time and talent. Why did they make this piece of junk with the talent that starred in it??? Watch the television shows, you will laugh a lot more!
Ok, it lacked the hilarity of the earlier Bean series. Good for a lazy evening if you have nothing better to do.
This was the best movie that I have ever seen and was very funny would watch it again and again
Very Funny. Great movie for the kids.
very funny we love mr bean
If you like Mr Bean, you will thoroughly enjoy this.
mr bean is no longer very funny
I just love Rowan Atkinson - this is just as funny second time around - classic slapstick comedy - hilarious!
One of Rowan Atkinson worst movies . A waste of time watching
The little boys loved it and the adults had a laugh too. Better for young kids (4 & 7) than many G rated films.
Absolute disaster. Its not funny at all. Waste of time and boring. Don't waste time watching this.
What was Willem Dafoe thinking when he signed up to this garbage? After the first 10 minutes, I watched it on fast forward and didn't miss anything and still didn't laugh. Crap.
Boring. Sometimes funny in parts
Very funny roll-about humour.
Good & funny. I like it very much and so are my kids.
Typical Mr Bean... But must say I enjoyed it very much. Got a couple of laughs, which you don't see in a lot of films today.
Absolutly hilerious. Watched 4 times then recommended it to friends.
I've always been a great (=loyal) fan of Mr. Bean, and Rowan Atkinson generally, but I'm afraid this film ,for me, missed the mark!
Can Be added to children movies.
My daughters love it.
They saw it 3 times.
If you enjoy the constant catastrophes that befall Mr Bean you will just love it. Otherwise you may find it gets a bit annoying.
I have never been a fan of Mr Bean the TV series yet love Rowan Atkinson, as a comedian and an Actor.
It wasn't until the brilliance of Mr Bean in a tale about a museum curator and a picture named Whistler's Mother, that I began to see the brilliance of Mr Bean.
I love the dichotomy of other characters talking, whilst Mr Bean mumbles and uses his body language to convey his message and sometimes this message is mis-interpreted leading to some unfortunate incidents for Mr Bean.
Often he is in the wrong place at the wrong time and nothing goes as planned. This is the theme and idea behind all Mr Bean's story lines.
Having said that I was looking forward to this movie, sadly it didn't live up to the brilliance I was expecting. There are some laugh out loud moments and sheer Mr Bean inspired times yet overall it lacks a major spark.
Rowan Atkinson does try to create a new problem by putting Mr Bean in a non-English speaking country yet this doesn't work as Mr Bean communicates in other ways.
Still worth watching for the chuckle and a feel good movie.
I was cringeing at his stupidity and wanting to turn it off after 10 mins. But then I've never been a Bean fan. I hired it as I seen the amusing trailer and thought it was worth giving this Bean phenomenon a 2nd go. Sadly the ONLY 2 funny scenes in the whole movie were IN the trailer... the other 70 mins were a huge cringe.
Well, what can one say. Starts fairly slow and finishes just a little better. A few laughs along the way however there is no too much to be missed by not seeing this movie. However, if it was the last movie available in the world to watch, I would give it a go.
If you like Mr Bean the series don't bother with this movie it was very slow, not funny and disappointing. I thought it was boring except for the one chuckle. Rent the first movie instead or the series.
Funny man! The actors in the movie worked well with Rowan Atkinson to make a relationship that was amazing but you could never understant how they could be like that. Very Funny Movie
truly genius. excellent movie. true to the beanster
I loved it every bit of it.Its hillarious.
Not worth watching. Disappointing.
For the uninitiated or hard-core Mr Bean fans. A rollercoaster comedy of errors.
Mr Bean what more can I say you either love him or not. We love him. Great movie
Mr Bean returns... Rowan Atkinson does a good job after so many years ...
Not one of his funny one's!! Preferred
Johnny English!!
Totally stupid film. If, like me, you are a fan of Mr Bean then stick to watching the tv series, the movies all stink!!
Not as funny as his usual efforts but good value none the less.
Not as good as his other movies, but still Mr Bean with his usual blundering
A very enjoyable family movie with lots of laughs, but a little disappointing to what I had expected. Sometimes too much of his antics can be annoying and over the top, but if you are a Rowan Atkinson and Mr.Bean fan - you'll love it.
I hated it from the start, just boring from the get go, i kept thinking that it was going to kick up a gear eventually and it just didn't, the ending credits were a welcome site, such a welcome site.
Awful. Incredibly incredibly incredibly boring. The worst movie I have seen for quite a while even though I am a fan of the early Mr Bean sketches. Is quite painful to watch - like counting ants in an ant nest say. I don't know how I managed to watch it all. I guess I expected it to improve but it never did.
Not as good as the TV series.
A little slow at times but finishes well.
Very funny, had to watch it 3 times to really see all the tiny details included in the plot and the background scenes. Laughed myself silly.
Rowan Atkinson as Mr Bean is very talented and a laugh a minute.
The opera singing in the marketplace was the funniest scene
Classic Bean moments littered through an otherwise tedious film. If this was condensed into a 1/2 hour Bean TV episode it would great but as a full length movie it is irritating at times where you vacillate between the urge to turn the whole thing off or to hang on for the funny bits. You'd have to be a major Bean fan to make it worthwhile, otherwise a waste of time.
The kids raved about Mr Beans Holiday but Mr Bean just doesn't rate with me
Was good, but not as good as some of his previous movies. Johny English is still my favourite, where he plays a James Bond 007 character.
Ultimate disaster was so much better. This was predictable and slow. If you are a real mr bean fan like me then you better stick to the tv series!
You might love it or you might think that it is nothing out of the ordinary. Some parts were pretty good, other scenes were stupid and slow.
