The old Monty Python classic comedy is a tonic for the Baby-Boomer generation. Probably not so much for the Gen Y, or so, viewer. It must be related to the whole Python era, the television series, the books, the stage shows, etc., when just about every 15 to 30 year old was a fan. Nothing like it since, nor probably ever again.

Great movie still. If you get a chance to see the mockumenary 'Holy Flying Circus' about the religious outrage over the movie, it puts it all in perspective!

Typical Monty Python. All very tongue-in-cheek. Some very funny bits in it.

Of course it's hilariously funny, it's Monty Python. Completely silly and razor sharp all the way through. One of the all times greats.

This has to be neck and neck with The Life of Brian. Watching the Monty Python crew on their quest to find the Holy Grail with my young children delivered a whole new dimension of humor to their growing minds. I don't know what was more enjoyable, watching the movie again or hearing my three sons splitting their sides laughing at this Fantastic Wet Humor. Think we'll have to watch again, and again ......

Even my kids like it ! You have to see it just so you can quote it. My sister was once bitten by a moose ! What do you mean? An African or European swallow? Did you say shrubberies ? Bring out yer dead (I'm not dead yet). There are some who call me... Tim. What... is your favourite colour? Galahad: Blue. No, yel... auuuuuuuugh. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
