The old Monty Python classic comedy is a tonic for the Baby-Boomer generation. Probably not so much for the Gen Y, or so, viewer. It must be related to the whole Python era, the television series, the books, the stage shows, etc., when just about every 15 to 30 year old was a fan. Nothing like it since, nor probably ever again.
Great movie still. If you get a chance to see the mockumenary 'Holy Flying Circus' about the religious outrage over the movie, it puts it all in perspective!
love this movie,a classic, still as funny now as when i first saw it.
Classic Python mania. Has stood the test of time. A film to be quoted for the rest of your life.
Classic Comedy at it's best.
Nobody can make them like this these days.
Typical Monty Python. All very tongue-in-cheek. Some very funny bits in it.
The extras DVD is not available so do not bother to rent this 35year old movie as nothing new to see
If you haven't seen this, you haven't seen anything! One of the most quotable movies ever made. Watch it with friends as this is a movie that you will want to quote endlessly.
I came across this movie several years ago as a teen, now mid 20's I can apprieciate the humor even more so. A real comedy clasic.
It was a great movie though the ending wasn't that great Ni!
Of course it's hilariously funny, it's Monty Python. Completely silly and razor sharp all the way through. One of the all times greats.
Classic Python. It is ageless
I love Monty Python, and this is my favourite Python film.
what can I say about an absolute CLASSIC. must see for everyone.
still soooo funny and always
a good watch every 10yrs or so!!!!
Minor "blackouts" vision and sound towards end. Nuisance only.
This has to be neck and neck with The Life of Brian. Watching the Monty Python crew on their quest to find the Holy Grail with my young children delivered a whole new dimension of humor to their growing minds. I don't know what was more enjoyable, watching the movie again or hearing my three sons splitting their sides laughing at this Fantastic Wet Humor. Think we'll have to watch again, and again ......
This is a classic movie. My son loves it and so do I.
Even my kids like it ! You have to see it just so you can quote it. My sister was once bitten by a moose ! What do you mean? An African or European swallow? Did you say shrubberies ? Bring out yer dead (I'm not dead yet). There are some who call me... Tim. What... is your favourite colour?
Galahad: Blue. No, yel... auuuuuuuugh.
Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.
