grandkids really enjoyed the movie

This film is animated very well and I personally enjoyed it but my 4yr old found it too scarey and didn't like a majority of it. My 6 yr old son really enjoyed it though!

This movie is not suitable for kids under 13 - has some very scary parts to it. Overall a good film.

Hilarious! Watched multiple times by the kids and enjoyed just as much by the parents.

Why are people saying this movie is unsuitable for kids? Scary? Bah! Don't be silly. No adult on earth should think this is scary or they're in serious need of a good lie down. My daughter is 5 and I often feel sorry for her because most kids movies are the usual Disney drivel. She loves monsters and gross things, like most kids do, and she likes horror movies where the main characters are children who have to outwit monsters. This movie and the more adult "Silent Hill" are her two favourites. Do your kids a favour and rent them a movie that doesn't insult their mental abilities.

quite scary for kids - not recommended and my son is 6.

I found this quite disturbing to watch, and I'm in my 20's. I'd never let children watch it, ever - the sexual allusions are too strong and uncomfortable, and the horror is too twisted. All in all a distasteful film.

We seen this on the big screen . Its a good family entertainment.

Kids loved it. Different to most kids animation where they seem to recycle the same characters with different celebrity voices. House was scary but not too scary.

This is certainly not meant for kids... Teenagers and adults will enjoy the amazing scenes!

Strange format with the life like comics-thought it was a kid's movie, but would not let a child under 12 watch it - it is quite scary, even for an adult!

I wouldnt recommend for young kids - maybe 12. I really enjoyed it tho

Excellent for both adults and children

Started out a bit 'iffy', but worth the effort to see the finish. Believable CGI makes it easier.

A great movie for adults as well as children.

Extremely good cgi animation, story line and characters. Warning to parents though, scenes of alcohol and teenage lust as well as scenes that can be a little frightening for younger viewers had many parents taking their children out of the cinema when I saw this.
