Based on a true story and from the producers of The Social Network, Moneyball is a movie for anybody who has ever dreamed of taking on the system. Brad Pitt stars as Billy Beane, the general manager of the Oakland As, who has been forced to reinvent his baseball team on a very tight budget. He teams with a young recent graduate, Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), in an unlikely partnership, recruiting bargain players and trying and outsmart the richer clubs.

Slow moving and too long. Ok but not great.

As someone who is most definitely NOT interested in baseball, I am happy to say I enjoyed this movie, even though i didn't always understand the baseball terminolgy. It is largely a film about the underdog (Oakland A's) triumphing against the odds, and the fierce and unwavering determination of their Manager Billy Beane, a former baseball player. Brad Pitt is excellent as Billy Beane, very believable and realistic. Very enoyable.

I'm not a sports lover at all (kind of OK with baseball), anyway I found the movie extremely good and really worth watching. Steve
