Long ago in the Iron Age a shadow loomed over a lonely village. For generations the village youths are stolen from their families and delivered as sacrifice to a mythical beast - the Minotaur, that dwells beneath a great palace. Theo, haunted by the loss of his love in an earlier sacrifice is convinced that the beast isn't real and that his girl still lives as a slave within the palace. His father Cyrnan, the village leader, tries to reason with Theo not to go, but Theo is driven by blind rage. He devises a plan and is taken with the other youths who are dragged screaming from their families.

Pretty awful! Having said that I managed to watch the whole thing (perhaps not giving it 100% attention the whole movie though!). Not the worst thing I've ever seen, but I've seen some pretty awful movies in my time!

F grade movie. Very boring and predictable. Only necessary to watch the trailer to see the best parts, Not completely true to the mythological legend.

Well I watched it, it was ok but nothing new here for fans of movies about greek myths. Bit of yawn really.

Pretty good production values, but I did get a bit confused when the action moved underground. Pretty good special effects.

Well pretty ordinary really - 80% of a movie being filmed in a cave with a monster minataur.. hmmm

I mostly laughed through this movie, particularly the final scene. And the Candyman has a cameo which makes it even more humorous.

I wish the running time on this movie really HAD be 0 minutes as detailed. I'd count this film as proof that special effects can not make up for a bad script and bad acting. Was also a bad interpretation of a classic myth.

A B-movie at best. A good storyline and some action, but not as good as the write up suggests. Only view it if you really want, there are better ones than this.

Really a 2 1/2er. Good special effects helps get the pass mark on a otherwise pretty average film. Haven't these people heard of typecasting African Americans as villains?
