Two brothers who are forced off their farm in the debt stricken mid west become folk heroes when they begin robbing the banks that have been foreclosing on farmers. This is a tale of progress, change, loss and desperation. The good ol' days have passed and the two "heores" have inherited a world of hardship, redundancy and a complete lack of purpose and meaning that kept their ancestors going.
