San Francisco becomes a target for waves of destructive meteors after a rouge comet orbits earth... For astronomer, Michelle Young, what was meant to be a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event, soon turns into her worst nightmare as thousands of meteors break the surface of the atmosphere and bombard the city. While Michelle's husband Tom, the head of FEMA for the region organizes the evacuation of the city, Michelle struggles to figure out why the meteors are only targeting San Francisco. Nowhere in the city is safe and the worst is yet to come. Michelle learns that behind the smaller meteors lies a much larger planet-killer sized asteroid looming ominously in space and it's on a collision course with Earth!

Ok but definitely B-grade! I'm a fan of end of the world films but this one fell short on storyline, dialogue, acting and definitely when it came to the dodgy effects unfortunately.

forget the meteors......... this movie is a disaster! occasionally hilariously comical......... still a disaster. i actually suffered through this to warn you QFer's out there to do yourselves a favour, 'avoid this one at all costs'
