Meet Joe Black (1998)

I watch this in my teens, but i think i missed all the subtleties until now... It was surprising well acted as Pitt in the role of Joe Black, and an interesting take on the play, "Death Takes A Holiday". Yes, it is slow to get a conclusion, but this also reflects the journey from life into... well- death. Beautiful soundtrack, nice witty writing/ script and clever editing. Watch it a few times to see the smooth transitions. 4 stars.

This would be the most ridiculous movie I have ever seen.

Good cast , good acting I enjoyed the movie.

Only lasted about an hour in. Was enjoyable for a short time, but once you get the gist of the plot, you don't want to have to sit through another 2 hours when you know what's going to happen.

A very slow movie but breathtaking production and incomarable acting. The plot keeps your attention. Well worth the 2 hours.

movie dragged on for 3 hours. Which is 3 hours you will never get back again... could easily have been condensed down to 1h30m.

Ok...not terribly impressed...a bit weird. Anthony Hopkins is a great actor, but his talents were wasted on this movie.
