'Me and You and Everyone We Know' is a poetic and penetrating observation of how people struggle to connect with one another in an isolating and contemporary world. Christine Jesperson is a lonely artist and "Eldercab" driver who uses her fantastical artistic visions to draw her aspirations and objects of desire closer to her. Richard Swersey (John Hawkes), a newly single shoe salesman and father of two boys, is prepared for amazing things to happen. But when he meets the captivating Christine, he panics. Life is not so oblique for Richard's seven-year-old Robby, who is having a risqué Internet romance with a stranger, and his fourteen-year-old brother Peter who becomes the guinea pig for neighborhood girls -- practicing for their future of romance and marriage.

Not as good as "The future" of the same director. Perhaps a precursor to "The Future"

Its a fairly good movie, not all what I had expected though. I'd' recommend it, but it's not an amazing film.

Odd film. Some very uncomfortable issues surrounding children. Acting a bit weak.

Quite funny and entertaining - no big bang or wild excitement but an enjoyable movie that is satisfying overall.

Thoroughly stupid. Miranda July's voice is excruciatingly irritating. She also must be her biggest fan as she is very lacking in talent. I could not wait for it to finish.

Wow, four stars from Margaret Pomeranz and David Stratton... better get that! Translation - a nice, but pointless movie, probably with foreign influence, that realistically is not worth more than 2.

Yes, definitely a sweet feeling film and I'd like to see a sequel to know what happened to all the characters.

Very quirky in a likable way. Worth seeing, but be prepared for some very explicit action & language. Off-hand, I can't think of many films with which it could be compared except, possibly, "Belle de Jour" or "The Unbearable Lightness of Being".

I had high expectations of this movie, which is, while being cute, a little pointless. I didn't identify enough with the leads to believe in the relationship aspect, and the jailbait subplot was positively cringeworthy.

This is a very "love it or hate it" affair. I loved the characterization by Miranda July and the quirky script. Does have some adult themes that might offend some.

A movie very high on the 'very strange' scale. The best that can be said for it is that nothing happens as you might expect: every scene is a surprise in odd ways.

An original, quirky look at relationships from various points of view. This independant film lacks a bit of structure, but in the end a warm, funny experience.

If you enjoy films like Punch Drunk Love, then you will probably enjoy this film too. A quirky, funny, and heartfelt look at human angst.

Kept waiting for something to happen and wondered why this was rated R. Very alternative type of movie maybe should be watched when your are drunk? A bit bizzare.

Terrible, Weird and disturbing. The only plus about this movie is that it highlights the need for parents to supervise what their children are looking at and participating in while on the internet.
