Quality throughout. A fine telling of the original Frankenstein story not to be confused with the hollywood butcherings. Well worth the time to see this brilliant Shelley classic brought to life.

I think this is one of the best adaptions of the Frankenstein story. De Niro is almost unrecognisable in this movie but gives and excellent performance. Supporting cast Aidan Quinn and Helena Bonham Carter are also excellent. Kenneth Branagh being both lead character and director may have stretched himself thin as some of the editting is clumsy making some scenes less believable. Overall, a pretty good movie.

Long and operatic telling of the Mary Shelley tale which, thankfully, stays close to the classic story.
