Can imagine what what the normally excellent Barkin and Nicholson were thinking when they let themselves in for this shatteringly unfunny 'comedy'. Made in 1992? Would have been lame in the thirties. Bailed out; suggest you save yourself the trouble. Go and have your appendix taken out: it'd be a whole lot more fun.
