Got this movie out because of the actors in it. That's why it got a one star because of the cast and definitely not for the story. Surely they must of been embrassed when they watched it. As the another reading said BORING BORING..

As another reviewer says, it promises a lot but delivers little - good actors but fairly boring

Slow! It came to a standstill - never even got going. Orlanda Bloom and Ellen Burstyn must feel so embarassed to have wasted themselves on this. Vague story full of holes, never really goes anywhere and then it rains and the rain stops and the sun comes out and everone lives happily ever after. Extremely dissapointing.

Take no notice of the review from "Irene "below. It is not relevant to this movie. A bit of "rude" and "crude" may have helped this movie. Only Ellen Burstyn comes out of this mess with her reputation intact. A boring flick has Colin Firth, with a Texan accent ,trying to take over a small depressed US town and use it as a dumping ground for toxic waste. Toxic waste describes this movie very well.

Perhaps the most disgusting movie I have started to view. Did not watch in entirity owing to the crude and rude content. I am not a prude, but some things just do not need to be put out there in the media. I give this no stars whatsoever.

Quite a thoughtful film and very well acted. It is a little slow, but it gets it's message across and somehow works. Worth a watch.

Boring, slow & no depth to the story. I chose this because Colin Firth was cast in it but it didn't do him any justice.A waste of his time & ours.

This film promised a bit but didn't deliver for me. I found it too slow and left a bad after taste. I'd only recommend it if you've run out of movies to watch.
