Only one operative has been awarded 16 purple hearts, and only one guy is man enough to still sport a mullet. In the 10 years since his fiancée was killed, special op MacGruber has sworn off a life of fighting crime with his bare hands. But when he learns his country needs him to find a nuclear warhead that’s been stolen by his sworn enemy, Dieter VonCunth, MacGruber teams up with his trusty sidekick (SNL’s breakout star Kristen Wiig) and an uptight lieutenant to get the job done. The trio sets out on a rampage of utter destruction that’s so over-the-top, it 'makes The Hangover look like Beaches'

This is far from the worst comedy i have seen recently. Three times as good as The Hangover Part 2 (Hardly high praise, even though i loved the original). It definitely has it's flaws but the actors commit to the premise which makes it a good DVD to watch on a rainy afternoon.

I loved this the first time I saw it, and then later I just liked it. The sex scenes are the comedy high point for me, and Kristen Wiig's great performance. You need to drink beer while watching though. You know, one of those films. A need-for-beer film. A film you watch and then say "dude" to your mate who's also been drinking beer when it's finished.

I could not make up my mind? if this movie was a comedy spoof, or was to be taken seriously, The acting was appalling,Mac Gruber was a 'dill' I do not like this movie.

Absolutely fair dinkum ridiculous film. After 15 minutes I could not stand the character MacGruber. Way too annoying

This was actually quite funny. Absolutely ridicuous, vulgar and over the top- but if your in the mood - it's pretty funny.

Gotta give them credit for putting it out. The comparison to Beverley Hills Cop has to be very tongue in cheek though.
