Excellent Australian movie. One of the best I have seen. Totally better than 1 and a half stars. It was a real character piece and the acting was fantastic - especially the boy. Would highly recommend

One of the most depressing movies I have seen in a long time. Nothing but doom, gloom and despondency. I would not recommend this as a relaxing bit of entertainment. But the acting was good, although the writing was a bit sloppy here and there.

Dark, gloomy but very atmospheric Australian "western". This on needed more work on the script. Character motivations were cloudy and it was a little hard to follow. Good performances from all, though.
