Just had this film and I fall into the "I liked it' category. I like romantic comedies, so guess I'm fairly easy to please, but if it's too way off centre, I tune out. This was ok, with likeable characters and a cute duck called Pierre (I think they used two in the making of it) and I often had a smile on my face. Would I watch it again? Sure...it's OK. :-)

This movie was sweet, albeit ridiculously cliche. Rhys Darby's lovable loser Doug gets dumped by his smoking hot long term girlfriend for being boring, and after adopting an injured duck (who he later names Pierre) uses said duck to win the affections of animal keeper Holly played by Sally Hawkins. It's a cute little rom-com, however I found it to be a little too predictable

This is a really bad attempt at a Romantic Comedy, with an added twist of a supposedly funny Duck. This Movie was so boring , unrealistic, and slow that I could only handle it for 30 minutes before reaching for the 'Off' button on my remote!

A bit slow to begin with, very predictable but a nice movie for those who want to watch something simple.

Very ordinary movie with poor story construction. I just could not empathise with any of the characters - and there were lots of those and all quirky - too many quirky characters, too many bits of story not well connected, too much to think about, sadly.

A surprisingly good film, love the music, the characters and of course, Pierre! A sweet film for a mushy Saturday night on the couch.

This movie started out so badly that I had to keep watching it to see how it would progress AND I was pleasantly surprised where it took me! There are some funny moments and lovely(if a little cheesey) scenes, you have to get around the New Zealand accent, you have to love the music of 'Queen' and just sit back and enjoy it for what it is a romantic comedy! ! !
