A widow’s undying love for the husband she lost in the war inspires a young reporter (Jennifer Love Hewitt) to bring closure to the couple’s story and to pursue an unexpected romance of her own. Every Valentine’s Day, Caroline Thomas (Betty White) arrives at the train station to mark the day in 1944 when her husband Neil went off to war, never to return. At first, TV anchor Susan Allison dismisses this sappy story her boss wants to feature on their show. She’d prefer reporting serious stories. But, struggling in a rocky relationship, Susan is intrigued and enchanted by Caroline’s touching romantic tale.

A little slow at the start. Good story, betty white is a little annoying and the ending is very predictable but the movie all together is touching and believable
